Learn More International Red Sneakers Day raises awareness for food allergies On May 20th, The Square hosted International Red Sneakers Day in West Palm, which helped spread the important message of increased food allergy awareness and encouraged attendees to wear red. The event featured activities for kids and teens, food allergy education and food allergy friendly vendors so that families could spend the day together while gaining potentially life-saving knowledge. Watch the Video New Wave Artist-in-Residence program promotes rising and established artists In partnership with arts organization New Wave, The Square's New Wave Artist-in-Residence program hosts national and international artists with diverse and underrepresented backgrounds. Artists spend their multi-week residency creating new works of art at The Square while connecting with the public through interactive events, such as painting classes and studio hours sessions. Making an Impact Making an Impact Related Cares initiative supports West Palm Beach Police Athletic League In August, Related Southeast team members spent a fun-filled afternoon at West Palm Beach Police Athletic League, beautifying the facility, joining relay races and hosting a pizza and ice cream party for local students. The organization gets young people involved in a variety of engaging programs that leave a positive impact on their future and on the community. Making an Impact Making an Impact Gunster and Related Southeast teams volunteer for education drive in West Palm In August, Phillips Point tenant Gunster led an initiative that supported the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County's goal to donate 20,000 backpacks to 39 schools throughout the county. Gunster and Related Southeast team members volunteered to fill new backpacks with school supplies, and Related Southeast office customer experience ambassador Eddie Beiler helped deliver 1,266 backpacks to students at C.O. Taylor/Kirkland Elementary School. Making an Impact Making an Impact Jade Wonzo leads yoga class for a good cause at The Square For more than two years, Jade Wonzo has been instructing yogis on the lawn at The Square. Her popular donation-based class not only promotes body positivity and inclusiveness, but it also helps raise money for local children. By teaming up with bookstore Rohi's Readery, Wonzo's class has donated more than 750 books to nearby schools and child care centers. Read the Article Making an Impact Making an Impact BrightBikes and WeMoke offer eco-friendly transportation options In an effort to make downtown West Palm more sustainable, Related Southeast is proud to introduce BrightBikes and WeMoke. Related helped sponsor the BrightBike bike share program, with bikes now available to rent at 17+ docking stations in the neighborhood.
