The Square announces lineup of community, culture and creativity this spring & summer

Dive into the dynamic pulse of Downtown West Palm Beach as The Square reveals an exciting array of events and festivals from bubble-filled adventures to immersive art experiences, promising endless excitement this year.

Surrounded by idyllic palms and fanciful art, bubble-filled adventures and youth-centric festivities to immersive experiences and creative showcases await both residents and visitors that will anchor seasonal memories for years to come.

Arts, Culture & Community
Attend Downtown West Palm Beach Art Festival and stroll Rosemary Avenue to immerse in a world of artistic expression to discover life-size sculptures, paintings, jewelry, ceramics, and more created by local and national artists. Guests can engage with the artists and learn about their inspiration and creative process. April 6-7, 10am-5pm

Dance. All. Day. Fest is a vibrant community festival presented in collaboration with the Natural Movers Foundation. Attendees can embrace movement, creativity, and fun for all ages with community dance classes, pop-up performances, interactive arts activities, and more. April 27, 10am-3pm

Cinco de Mayo - Join El Camino for Cinco De Mayo for an outdoor festival full of games, an outdoor bar, face painting, family craft activities, and more; experience live music on the lawn and catch a mariachi band performance. Events hosted at El Camino and in the courtyard on the ground level below the restaurant. May 5, 2024 from 12-10pm

Latin Dance Nights – After dinner reservations at The Square, things will heat up on the lawn this summer with a curated showcase of local talented Latin musicians who inspire all to sway to energetic and rhythmic melodies – and maybe learn a new step or two. Fridays starting in May, 6-10pm

aZul Fashion Fest is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to offering alternative art-focused programs for adults with disabilities and their caregivers/families. The community is welcome to join as aZul’s current cohort of local designers showcase their Summer 2024 Collection. May 11, 4-7pm

The Kings Academy Jazz Ensemble delivers an inspiring concert under the stars filled. Free and open to the public on the lawn. May 18, 6-9pm

International Red Sneakers Day is a free mini festival dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of food allergies. Bring the entire family to patron brands leading the charge in allergen-awareness, child and teen activities, and connect with the food allergy community. The Square encourages attendees to wear red sneakers, accessories, or attire. May 19, 11am-2pm

"Page Beats & Playful Streets: A Literary 90s House Jam” YouthFest presented by FLAVAR and Rohi’s Readery. Join us for an electrifying evening where attendees will be transported back to the iconic era of the 90s house party. Kids and teens will enjoy hip hop beats, DJ storytime, a record painting class, DJ lessons and more. YouthFest promises an immersive and entertaining experience that celebrates the great accomplishments of the school year while gearing up for summertime reading and movement. May 31, 5-9pm

Make Music Day Palm Beach County is a musical celebration on June 21, the longest day of the year. The Square is participating with all-day free, live music programming. June 21, time TBD

Third Annual Sweet Summertime Series
Dive into a summer filled with sweetness at The Square. From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, a plethora of free outdoor events centered around educational pop-ups, confectionary treats and entertainment will bring the neighborhood to life including:

  • Bubble Blast – An outdoor bubble extravaganza every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Memorial Day through Labor Day, featuring 15-minute bubble shows as well as family-focused pop ups, STEAM activities and more. Fridays 4pm and 6pm; Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm
  • Sweet Specials – Indulge in delectable deals and activations offered by The Square's esteemed restaurants, including Angie’s, Sloan’s, Salty Donut, BurgerFi, Sur La Table, and Felice wine bar.
  • Drop Everything and Read with "BAM! Festival," for Books, Art, and Music – Junior book, art and music aficionados unite during this monthly literary series on the lawn with story time and interactive activities. Last Friday of each month May – August from 5-6pm.
  • Science Sunday with Cox Science Center and Aquarium – Experience the wonder of science through new interactive themed demonstrations each week presented by the Cox Science Center and Aquarium. Every Sunday starting May 26 through September 3
  • Movie Nights – Grab a blanket, friends and take-out from The Square restaurants for family-friendly movie nights on the lawn. Free and open to all ages. Dates and times TBD.

Wellness and Fitness
Sunday HIIT with 1 Fitness – Join 1 Fitness instructors for 45 minutes of high intensity functional movements using various resistance training techniques combined with cardio intervals to improve strength, help build lean muscle and maximize calorie burn. These classes are perfect for all levels. Every Sunday 9-9:45AM on the lawn

Wednesday Yoga with Jade – With six years of experience and hundreds of hours of teaching and training, Jade teaches all over Palm Beach County with a strong belief that all bodies are “yoga bodies”. Her classes are created for all to enjoy, no matter size, color, ability or skill level. $10 suggested donation. Every Wednesday from 6:30 – 7:30pm

Saturday Yoga with Natalie – Roll out your mats with the community as Natalie Addison guides attendees through an all-levels Vinyasa class. All levels, bodies and people are welcome. $10 suggested donation. Saturdays at 10am on Rosemary Avenue in front of True Food Kitchen

Full Moon Yoga – Shelly Saunier will host a monthly seasonal yin yoga class celebrating the new beginnings brought by a full moon, kicking off in celebration of Earth Day in April. Open to all levels and hosted on the lawn. April 23, May 23, June 20, July 21, August 19 from 8-9pm
